Assistant Purchasing Manager

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the purchasing team in preparing purchase order documents to bring transactions to completion
  • Liaise and coordinate with suppliers and buyers to ensure the order is fulfilled in a timely manner
  • Manage after sales service issues, such as logistics updates, order cancellations and return order arrangements
  • Provide support on our transaction management platform and remedy occasional complaint cases from project team
  • Handle enquiries from in-house construction project teams for the order and delivery
  • Coordinate with various internal departments to ensure the quality of service
  • Provide suggestion on existing processes to help optimize internal platform and customer experience
  • Closely communicate with the team and report to business head for transaction status including but not limited to ordering, delivery, pricing and payment
  • Assist the Operation Manager in following up with the potential suppliers and customers
  • Handle ad-hoc tasks as required

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration / Construction with 2 years related working experience is preferred
  • Detail oriented with excellent telephone manner
  • Material supplier working experience will be an advantage
  • Good sense of team spirit
  • Attention to details with an ability to spot errors
  • Fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
